Hello, And Welcome to K-9 Rescue Partners of Hernando Inc!

We are a family run rescue dedicated to giving all dog breeds and mixes from Hernando County Animal Services in Brooksville, FL. facing euthanasia or seniors who need hospice care, litters of puppies and their mothers, a second chance at finding their forever home! We have had an amazing journey and countless success stories for over 50+ dogs, and hope to find forever homes for the remaining few we have left. I, Maisie the founder of our rescue have been dealing with serious medical issues for a long time, the past 5 years being the most difficult. Sadly I have physically not been able to manage the last of the pups we have been able to rescue. My husband, Shawn, bares a large part in the daily efforts of caring properly with extra love for the last of the dogs under K-9 Rescue Partners. With that said all adoption fees have been waived, All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, medical and temperament tested before available for adoption. We complete a background check on potential adopters, and do require a home check and contract to ensure that they will be given the best chance at finding a home where they can live out the rest of their days as all dogs should, loved, nurtured, and with a family to call their own.
